Sinekolin capsules contain barberry root bark (Berberidis radicis cortex), which has strong antibacterial properties, against some species, such as E. coli, Streptococcus viriclans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi, Sarcina flava, Serratia sp. and Providentia stuardii. It has been determined to have antimycotic effect on species Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis and Candida pseudotropicalis. Its bacteriostatic effect on Escherichia coli is especially worth mentioning.

Escherichia coli, the most frequent agent of urinary tract infection, ties itself to the epithelium of urinary system with its fringes (fimbriae), creating a protective membrane and is thus very resistant to antibiotic therapy. Active substance isolated from barberry root bark prevents fringe development, in this way enabling the efficient removal of E. coli from the urinary system.

Some of the other ingredients of Sinekolin capsules are birch leaf (Betulae folium), which helps the secretion of urine and acts as an antibiotic and bearberry leaf (Uvae ursi folium), which acts anti-infectiously and disinfects the urinary tract.

Thus the use of Sinekolin capsules is an excellent choice in the treatment of infections of urinary bladder and kidneys.  

Use:  take 1 capsule 2 times a day. Drink with a little fluid, irrelevant of meal. Not recommended for pregnant women and children under 12 years.

The most common agents of urinary tract infections are bacteria E. coli and Enterococcus. These bacteria are normally found in the human intestines.
